Smoothies For A Low Calorie Breakfast
I just can’t seem to get enough fresh fruit in my diet. One way is to find fresh pineapples for $1.89. Another is to mix up a smoothie.
My favorite smoothie is an easy combination of fruits, yogurt and juice. I’ll change up the fruit or juice depending on what is in my refrigerator and this week it happens to include fresh pineapple.
I make these year round a few times a week for a light breakfast or lunch. All of the ingredients are really good for you and I use honey instead of sugar,
Mix all ingredients in a blender:
4 raspberries
4 blueberries
4 strawberries
1 cup cranberry juice – low calorie
½ cup vanilla yogurt
2 ice cubes
1 Tbsp honey
